Name of musician/band: Tim Cheesebrow
Name of Single: You will Never Walk Alone
Type of music: Rock and Country
Overall impressions:
At first listen I thought the music and song was a little dated. I listened to the song again and then again and read the bio of this artist’s intent. I understand more clearly who his target audience is. He is a singer/songwriter who caters to teaching children and others how to write music. In this context I think this Americana song is a great fit for teaching people to reach into their souls and bring their talent out. It’s this style of music that is good for the soul especially in a collective group environment where the audience is set to learn. I understand that this singer/songwriter performs in public places as a career. This song however, catches me as a good tool for teaching and learning.
How does this CD or song compare to others by this group or artist?
This song compares high in the teaching/learning environment, for instance, “Sesame Street Live”, or Public Education Channels”. It could possibly reach chart toping stability by delving it deeply in the teaching and learning genre first and spreading from there.
